1 Provide legal advice on the matters related to export/
international trade/ customs or any other law/ regulation under
which company’s operations falls.
o Interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, and government
guidelines affecting the export operations.
o Offer legal advice to department heads regarding adherence to
prescribed SOPs and compliance with government regulations.

2 Agreement Drafting and Vetting:
o Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with suppliers, buyers,
and for the protection of company properties.
o Ensure that agreements are comprehensive, legally sound, and
align with company objectives and standards.

3 Negotiation Skills and Relationship Management:
o Demonstrate excellent negotiating skills in handling all legal and
commercial matters.
o Maintain strong relationships with external counsels, vendors,
and partners to ensure effective collaboration and legal support.

4 Timely Completion of Tasks:
o Manage workload efficiently to ensure completion of tasks before
deadlines.
o Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail in
handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

5 Legal Document Drafting:
o Prepare and draft various legal documents, including contracts,
agreements, and legal correspondence.
o Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and

regulations in all drafted documents.

6 Self-Update on Legal Laws:
o Stay informed about changes in legal laws, regulations, and
industry trends relevant to export operations.
o Continuously update legal knowledge and skills to provide
effective legal counsel and support.

7 Effective Communication and Follow-Ups:
o Maintain clear and effective communication with department
heads.
o Proactively follow up on ongoing tasks and provide updates to
relevant stakeholders.
o Advise department heads on legal matters and ensure adherence
to prescribed SOPs and government guidelines.
o Liable To assist/ take care, any legal matter/activity, that has
been assigned by HOD or Director

Requirements:
 Proven experience as a Legal Advisor/ Corporate Lawyer, preferably in
the export industry.
 Knowledge of Export Terms/ International trade/ Custom laws and
regulations (preferably).
 Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
 Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to
prioritize tasks effectively.
 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate across departments and stakeholders.
 Proven track record of completing tasks before deadlines and effectively
managing follow-ups.
 Ability to maintain relationships with external counsels and stay updated
on legal laws and industry trends.
